I work full time and I'm also a full time college student. I had been receiving calls from Toyota about my past due balance and was trying to get someone to work with me.

During the Hurricane in Oct., I had to help my family with finances. Despite me trying to set up a payment plan, Southeast Toyota Finance gave me several rude representatives and very little info. My car was repossessed in the middle of the night and when i called to settle, No one let me know that offices were closed on the weekend and i have to possibly go a week without a vehicle. AND I HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY THEM!

My job was shut down for 7 days during the hurricane and my family's home was in bad shape.

They had little remorse for my situation. I'm just a college student trying to make due with what I have, while helping my family in another city.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Southeast Toyota Finance Cons: Very poor customer service.

that is not true. your re representatives do not offer anything I called before I reach 30 days.

I had had fallen behind due to the storm we had in the area. we had no power for two days, had to pay for hotels and replaced food. I schedule payment which did have me at 27 days past due. received an email that the payment had not processed, i call my bank to find out why the payment did not processed.

i was told i had a lein placed on my account. i did not have funds to recoup for my payment because they took the money. so next pay would not be affected. so immediately called and explained what happened.

basically no help no information. i was able to give a solid date of when i get paid which was the following Friday which did put me at 40 days. my husband and i have another car payment with another company that this situation affected also. they didn't even question us they were willing to help!

i have never dealt with a company so insensitive to consumers/customers that need assistance. to tell a customer "you only made 5 payments" nothing you can do is absurd. I didn't know life events had a deadline. your customer service is terrible.

its not about not liking the answer its about the non attempt to help and telling to borrow money from friends and family before even trying to help.

I never asked for an ext or arrangements. so im disappointed and will be working to get this account current and getting this loan away from your company.
