If I could give 0 stars, I would. Multiple times they have returned my payments, for no good reason and without notice.
I have plenty of funds to cover the note. I didnt notice until it was too late once and they hit me with a 30 day late notice on my credit report. *** when I paid well on time. My bank said they did not reject the payment, it was on Southeast Toyotas end.
It shouldnt be this frustrating to pay your car note. Customer service is quick to harass you if youre one day late but dont dare call when they happen to not want to take your payment for whatever reason. I had to argue that I even called and made payment over the phone with issues as well. They had to research and find my phone call before they fixed it all but by then it was 45 days late.
No way I was paying my car note twice! Total *** company and I wished I had a choice in who I went through with financing because Id never pick these buffoons.
Preferred solution: My credit reporting reversed

You'll have to resolve any issues yourself, if you purchase through TOYOTA FINANCE.
In October 2024, I bought a RAV 4 from the same year. I subsequently moved to Pennsylvania, and on April 17, I called Toyota Finance to request that they send the title to this state for proper registration.
That same day, I made the same call to SunCoast Credit Union, with whom I financed my Dodge Grand Caravan.
On May 1, the title for my Dodge Grand Caravan arrived in Pennsylvania, sent by SunCoast Credit Union, and I was able to register it on May 5.
As of today, May 22nd, and after making numerous calls and sending the title request letter several times, with the complete Pennsylvania DMV information,I still haven't been able to resolve the chain of procedures and, above all, the inconveniences I've had getting Toyota Finance to send the title to Pennsylvania.
Today, I received a call informing me that I must send a legal document clarifying the error THEY made, including the incorrect entry of my first and last name on the Contract and the Title Deed.
In other words, I'm paying for the consequences of your mistakes until the end!!!
In other hand, on past November 2024, I received a call from Toyota Finance informing me that the first monthly payment on my RAV 4 was 48 hours overdue. (This didn't happen again after I included the monthly payment set aside for my bank account starting the following month.)
That is, I received a reminder call 48 hours after the first payment due date, and I've been waiting 36 days (and counting, because the issue hasn't been resolved yet) to receive the title in Pennsylvania for registration...and I must resolve an error you made!!!
Think about it...

Title
My payment to buy my lease out was sent on June 3rd today is the 26th of June. The title company has received nothing from Southeast Toyota. Do not pay your lease off through Southeast Toyota pay it off through the dealer or place of purchase..

Cannot Create Account, so cannot get help
Bought a new toyota hybrid. Cannot create an account as system will not allow my to enter my email.
Tried daily for 2 weeks. If you cannot log in, there is no way to contact them. Every method requires log in Asked salesguy for phone number and ha gave me the wrong one. Impossible to get anything done...make payments or resolve problems.
Very sorry about this purchase. Biggest car problem is no volume on GPS!
No way to get help and lost in new area all the time. Now scared to drive.

Bad service and hidden fees
My car got totaled, i reported it online and 4 months later i get a call from them saying a owe late fees. I was never told i had to make a payment after i reported my car as a loss and when i called they just brush me off.
if you buy a toyota dont finance it with southeast toyota finance. Bunch of scammers with bad customer service.

Terrible Customer Service
Tried calling customer service to ask a simple question and rather than listen to my question the rude lady on the other end only kept repeating the same question as if it was the only phrase she knew in English which was, "If you want to make payment I need account number." Funny thing is my question had nothing to do with my account.

I have recently fallen behind due to job loss in the past couple of months, and I have been talking to a few different representatives who tend to yell at me and belittle me during this difficult time. I am furious because of the way I have been treated by you all. I am paying my bill and I think it is very unprofessional to treat customers as if they have never paid a bill in their account.

Verified ReviewerResolved: Report of death/payoff/car title
As of 8/31/2024, have not received refund for draft they took after payoff.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. SE Toyota sent the title to my deceased mother's address on July 16, even though I had called multiple times asking for the title to be sent to me.
I found this out when I called on August 8. Now, the issue is they drafted my mom's checking account for the monthly payment, after the car was paid off and after the car title was sent to my deceased mother's address.
Now, they want to send a check for an amount less than what they drafted. Why don't they just credit it back to her account?
When I followed up on the 17th, I was told it takes 24 - 48 hours to upload information. I called back on the 19th. Was told the same thing - to call back on Monday. I called back today, 7/22,and was told they had started uploading the documentation, but had not completed and to call back AGAIN tomorrow.
It doesn't take that long to update documents. I know - I do it frequently. I don't enjoy waiting 20 - 30 minutes and going through all the prompts of an automated answering service. I can only imagine how the clients where I work would take this kind of service.
It's stressful and unnecessary.
It's hard enough losing a parent and then having to jump through hoops to TRY to get information. I'd rather have a root canal.

They stole my car, failed to communicate with me,made up false lies that it was 45 days late and then 400 or more days late. SETF didn't give me an opportunity make a payment after I sent them advance payments covering over 24 months.
They breached the contract by demanding a payoff.
Clearly,they were operating on orders from Dekalb County School District and their attorneys. Each time a motion is due or court deadline,they do things badly against me.
I spoke with one representative that said they don't send out alerts and I found out that was a lie. This agent said my vehicle was over one hundred days late.
Not true! They received over 90% of payoff accounting for twenty-four months plus. This is more of their retaliation by Dekalb and their gangsters' affiliates getting into my business. They are jealous haters because I don't f-with them.
Per the contract, they are supposed to contact me but I was not over one hundred days. Again, they are watching my personal business and allowing the "gangster affiliates to f-with my junk!
I still have not agreed to anyone viewing, making changes, or doing anything else with my account.
I suspect identity theft. Go somewhere else.
This company received advanced payments and repossessed out of retaliation.

I called customer service this morning. The representative was nice at first.
She asked to place Mr on a brief hold. Once she got back on the phone is became rude and begin to rush me off of the phone! I asked to speak with her supervisor and she refused to let me speak with anyone.
She simply stated that she had already spoke with her supervisor. I was left with unanswered questions and and unresolved issue.

SETF seems to think I still have the leased vehicle even though I turned it in and followed every step of their process perfectly. They can't even confirm what I owe when I call.
Is it the $366 disposition fee (I paid it), is it a $494 fee (they don't know what that is), is it the $503 monthly fee (I paid all 36 payments)? They won't ground the vehicle and close out my account so now I'm left with late fees hanging over my head. The vehicle was returned in perfect condition and 12,000 miles under the 36k lease.
SETF - Why won't you close the account? I held up my end of the lease contract now you hold up yours!

I paid for the car cash yet they still make clerical error to have lien on my vehicle.
I bought a car cash, yet they put a lien on my vehicle by accident.
The automated phone number is horrible, they keep asking me for a loan number in which I do not have.
I ended up contacting their parent's company at JM Family Enterprise, so that someone will reach out to me.
Finally got the issue resolved, but then they sent title to the wrong address. I literally have to fly back to across the country to the DMV to do a duplicate title.
I love Toyota car, but I am not happy with this finance company who handling vehicle documentations. Made too many mistakes.

I had a 36 month lease. Then, I extended it to 39 months.
I bought the car from Toyota at the end of the lease in March of 2024. However, they charged me for a 40th payment in my payoff amount. These people insist I had a payment due in April of 2024, but I owned the car in April of 2024! These people are so incredibly stupid; they can't add 36+3 and get 39!
They insist I had a 40th payment. This is the last time I will ever buy another Toyota!

Preferred solution: My $505 back for the over payment on the Camry I just bought. I bought it at the end of a 39 month lease but they charged me a 40th payment in my payoff!
