My father's 96, broke his hip, and we returned his car that was leased from Southeast Toyota Finance. He had a year left on his lease.
So, instead of being thankful that they can now re-lease his car and make money off it, my father's being charged the remainder of the lease. Fine, I can accept that. BUT, there's also a disposition fee of $350, plus tax. AND, since the account's closed, everything must be paid off at once: $4000, all at once.
We return the car, and we have to pay $4000, all at once. I don't care what the "rules" are; this is shoddy, unprofessional, unethical, and totally antagonistic to customers.
If you lease from this company, you will get ripped off. Period.
