Southeast Toyota Finance - Death, Taxes and Leases
Father was leased a car even though admitted to having cognitive decline, asked what happens if could not drive, dealer said would take it back, fast forward and Dad passes, dealer takes it back, car in good shape, but SETF auctions, says they are short $X and tacks on some lease months and late feels, 3 letters no response. Dealer won't step in.
No compassion at all from this entity. Wondering how many elderly people in FL have been taken advantage of. Probably pretty common.
Tried to navigate through complex corporate set up to find names, addresses, faxes, emails of people who might help but no response still with 3 attempts. Not to mention how much time this is taking while dealing with all else related to a parent passing away.

Monetary Loss: $3700.
