Horrible customer service
Bad bad customer service. Calling to southeast Toyota is probably the most stressful experiences Ive ever had.
Every time I call is just worse than the last one. Today I called, when they transfer me, the first lady who answer the phone started telling me what to do without even asked me what I wanted or need. Then I told her listen, thats not what I am calling for, she said do you want me to transfer you with someone else? and I said yes, then she simply hang up the phone.
When I called again, Demarco answered the phone with an attitude already. I was trying to understand everything so I was doble quoting everything he said. But it looks like he was annoyed every time he answered something. When I was done talking, I asked him if he was working from home or from the office because as a customer service worker for me was difficult to believe he was working from an office after being that rude.
He started laughing probably these workers are not getting enough money for their job but this a really disappointing service.
Better check their employees! ...

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. I received a call from a representative after I placed a notice of our discord on Toyota Finances's Facebook website. I had already placed 2 other Earlier disgruntled notices but not much had happened aside from a short note from Toyota saying they would definitely look into it??!!We were SO grateful and glad to have this nightmare come to a close in a positive manner.Thank you to those in charge who helped us, very much!!!.
Im advised by Jessica that 1) the car will be paid in full 2) Our $500 Dec payment is being refunded. 3) We need to sign a temporary POA 4) After car is paid off-must go to local Toyota dealer and cancel the maintenance/warranty pkg for a refund to us. We Did ALL of this and were ready to move onto finding our replacement car..
We got a new loan and went shopping everywhere bc there was quite a shortage!
We decided to stay at our local Toyota dealer in Wilmington, NC bc they are so nice.
We got a newish car,with our previous warranty/maint plan transferred to the new car.
We worked painstakingly hard to find a car that fit our tight budget.
We made a LARGE financial decision based on the information given to us by
SETF.
Approximately one month after buying our car we were wondering about the refund, so we called SETF and talked to Betty.
Betty was Not nice-there was all kinds of chaos, treated like a liar, but basically we were told someone made a big mistake and OOPS! You OWE $3000.
What the *** Who can I trust here now?
I demanded a supervisor verify my conversation from 12/16/2021
Supervisor Brandy Miller did verify the phone statements, but also stated SETF just cant eat such a large mistake!
And-She said they already filed for our warranty/maint package to be taken off our car and sent to them.
So our 2018 car is without a warranty/maintenance plan at that time.
We have consulted an attorney.
EXPECTATIONS-
Stop sending letters threatening our credit.
Stop calling us repeatedly.
Close this account, keep the $1200 you took and be happy,with NO damage to our credit

Ended up testing positive for COVID at the end of September 2021, I instantly called them to try to get some assistance in this with my car payment. My job unfortunately only had to pay covid pay until the beginning of Sept per the corp office.
I was basically blown off and blamed for getting covid, i even explained the situation and unexpected got sick but basically was blamed that it was my fault and they refused to help me. I overdrafted my bank to pay the payment because the refusal of help. I turned to the BBB on them and still got blown off and blamed for getting covid that setf said they cant help me and or wont move or do anything to assist the situation. Because of them now im behind on $400 of bills through 2 months due to over drafting and fees that added.
Now because i finally went back to work at the END OF NOVEMBER, they STILL refuse to help me while im at work busting my add to afford to even live and deal with them. This bank has been nothing but issues from the time i started with them, My battery died a year after having my car and the money came out of the payment because who has money lying around for a battery for a BRAND-NEW CAR?????????? Basically told me it was again my problem.
They have locked my account and over drafted it before also after being told they cant auto pull and was removed from auto pull they kept taking and taking saying again my issue not theirs. SCAMMERS
