Southeast Toyota Finance (SETF) was very deceiving when scheduling an appointment to inspect my car. They called to schedule an appointment, but when I asked could I turn my car into dealer and have it inspected they said I could. When I turned the car into the dealer a person inspected my car and said it was fine. Later, I received a notice that I had several excessive wear charges, many of which was not on my car (2012 Camry) when I turned it in. I turned in my vehicle on June 25, 2015 and I the inspection report was completed on July 21, 2015. What happen to the car between that time??? This car was in excellent condition with less than the 36,000 miles purchased in the agreement. The bill I receive was for $935.00 plus disposition fee. I have paid the disposition fee and for one small dent on the door rim that was less than the size of a dime.

When I called to talk with a supervisor regarding this (who by the way was very rude) she said it is not our problem that you made the assumption that we would inspect the car at the dealer == you should have schedule the appointment with us. I asked her why didn't the person just schedule an appointment with me at the dealer if she knew that ONLY SETF could do the inspection. Instead, she lead me to believe that it would be inspected at the dealer when I turned in the car. How was I to know that SETF and the place I purchased the vehicle were not the working together to inspect the vehicles. They were working together when I purchased the vehicle.

I truly hope SETF is not the type of company that is intentionally deceptive and do not want customers to be at the inspection so they could create charges for excessive wear, but based on what I experienced that is the exactly what happened.

I have been an excellent customer, but i am very disappointed in the service of SETF with this lease experience and will not use or recommend them in the future. I would like to appeal the remaining charges listed on the report.
