I check my account on setf website to see if they got my payment and pay it about a week in advance so that more goes to the principle. when it was not credited to the account I called and was told that they didn't get it. So I cancelled the check and payed over the phone. Two days later my husband gets a rude call telling him he is late. We were not. Turns out that the first payment "sat on someones desk" and never got applied to our account. yeah right. They then charged us a fee,which my husband called and raised cain about. I now pay online. It depends on your state whether or not you get charged a fee. Also, you cannot pay from online banking to a post office box. I cannot stand having to deal with these people.
